Yes, three today!!

Gotta love rainy, lazy days to get the mojo flowing.  Actually, hubs just had knee surgery yesterday, so things are moving pretty slowly around here today.  Great time to create....between "honey, can you get me.....".
Anywho, felt like a little water coloring.

Totally Resistable...

This one if for the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.  Any kind of "resist" technique qualifies.
So many to choose from....I used white embossing powder for the leaves then water colored the background with distress ink.

Nuts about you..

Keeping the fall ball rolling, entering this one in the Shopping our Stash weekly challenge. I think the Simon Says October Card Kit is my favorite one so far.  However just got a sneak peak of Novembers, which may get an equal share of the love....

This challenge is using the most delicious colors.
Also going with Freshly Made Sketches for the layout.

Falling leaves....

How I love this time of year.  Whether it's card making, baking or cooking up a pot of warm, delicious soup, it fills my heart with joy.  Love the Stitched Leaves die from Lawn Fawn..added them to an embossed background and stuck on one of these adorable acorns stickers from the October Simon Says card kit. Adding this to their Simon Wednesday Challenge.  Hoping to get a few more made this weekend while the rain is falling and the mojo is flowing!

Challenge fun

Boy, we are on a roll...Next up is a card created for two more challenge. Shopping Our Stash challenge #272 (birds or feathers). I started to pa-rouse my stamp stash and couldn't believe the slim picken's when it comes to birds and feathers. The other challenge is from CASology where they have a cue word to use for your card.  This week is "support" in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  So, here is my take on the two.  Have to say I feel like I've cheated a bit here.  Used a patterned paper from the Harvest Meadows paper pack from Wild Rose Studio.  Love, love, love this paper. I used Simon Says gold embossing powder and water colored the little feathered friend.  Not sure I am loving the color of the bird, but it is what it is!

Going to try this blogging thing again....

As you can see, it has been quite some time since I have been out to my long, lost blog.  I have a lot of updating to do, but for now, I have jumped into a few challenges with my BFF that needs to somehow make its way to a public domain today...hence the pressure!  Today I am playing in the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge and also the ColourQ challenge. I really need to get some practice in on these CAS cards.  I tend to get way too "fussy" and forget how fun it can be to keep it clean and simple.

Here is the color palette from ColourQ and the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch
