OH NO!!!

Being the newby blogger that I am, I was playing around trying to figure out how to make my photos larger....low and behold, I ended up deleting my entire post!! ARGH!!
Sooo..I will quickly try to get get these reposted since they were part of a challenge. Stamp is from Bugaboo...challenge is with Craft Your Passion.

Isn't she a cutie? If you have never been to Bugaboo Stamps, you need to head on over...they many different styles and are oh, so cute!
I was in the mood to do some coloring, so played around with this little free digi fairy. Unfortunately, I do not remember where I snagged her from...I'll keep looking. Had to throw on another crocheted flower...they are so much fun.

More Challenges...

So, Friday morning my daughter reminds me school starts this next Thursday (yea, Thursday??) and we have yet to make our traditional run to Boise for the annual emptying of moms bank account for school clothes. OK..get to work, cram 8 hours into 4-5 and head out down the road for the weekend.  I have to say, I probably enjoy the bonding time with my sweet 16 as much as she enjoys getting the new additions to her wardrobe.  However, this means getting home Sunday and trying to get my weekly card for the chosen challenges created, edited and added to the blog.  I can't say I am happy with the result, but I have made myself a promise to get these done!
Challenges entered:
Crafty Catz - Pink and Brown
Fussy and Fancy - Use 3 favorite embellishments ( ribbon, pearls and snowflake)
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long - Non-Traditonal colors

One card for two challenges

I know...its quite primary for some of you, but this is MY FIRST CHALLENGE attempt.  The first one is Use It Tuesday challenge. This week, we were asked to use 2 hoarded items.  Well, let me just say this one was a piece of cake!  I'm sure you can relate when I say I could probably make 100 cards using hoarded items in my ever growing stash.  I have had the Basic Grey Figgy Pudding papers for several years and never cut into them.  Then I pulled out my "hoard" of thin strip Cuttlebug embossing folders...love them...never used them!  The second challenge is for Christmas Stampin' All Year Long titled Just Gimmie The Bird. Using a bird in a Christmas card was easy peezie (even though you have to look pretty close to find my little feathered friend).
Colored with Copic other than the paper pieced jacket and hat.  UPDATE:  Wouldn't you know I was a day too late for the Use It Tuesday challenge.  Oh well, it got me diggin' around in my worldly goods and brought them to the surface.  I will be trying their challenge next time around, 2nd and 4th Tueday of the Month.

I'm Baaaack!!!

Wow! Talk about taking a break! But seriously....this time I mean it. We have now moved to town, which cuts out a huge chunk of travel time througout the day. That and time spent tending to 15 acres and a very large house to (try) to keep clean. In an attempt to get the mojo flowing, I will be entering some weekly challenges. You know what that means.....updating and cleaning up the ole' blog site! Who knows....I may end up with visitors! So, until I get some of the challenges started, I will start with posting a few of my "creations" that have not yet been seen by anyone but yours truly.

I have been having fun crocheting all shapes and sizes of flowers...some for hats, bags and of course, cards.
Purple, being my fav color, you will be seeing a lot of those!  One more.....

Too fun!  Ok.  I am now officially back in the game...off to be challenged.  With a bit of luck and creative juices flowing, I will be back tomorrow.
