Challenge fun

Boy, we are on a roll...Next up is a card created for two more challenge. Shopping Our Stash challenge #272 (birds or feathers). I started to pa-rouse my stamp stash and couldn't believe the slim picken's when it comes to birds and feathers. The other challenge is from CASology where they have a cue word to use for your card.  This week is "support" in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  So, here is my take on the two.  Have to say I feel like I've cheated a bit here.  Used a patterned paper from the Harvest Meadows paper pack from Wild Rose Studio.  Love, love, love this paper. I used Simon Says gold embossing powder and water colored the little feathered friend.  Not sure I am loving the color of the bird, but it is what it is!

  2. Hello Barb: The color of your bird is wonderful, love it!!! And your pattern paper is the perfect background for it, the gold embossed sentiment just finishes this card beautifully.
Thank you for sharing with us over at SHOPPING OUR STASH, hope you join us again soon.
    Hugs,
    Maria Rodriguez.

  4. So pretty! Love the embossed accents on this! Beautiful patterned paper! I'd say you used that paper to keep things simple! ;) Can you imagine what it would take to create a beautiful flower scene like that with watercolor paints?! Great job!
